Green Wing is aimed at exploring the possibilities of making the media production process as sustainable as possible across Wales. Via Little Bird Films ‘Green Wing’ service, we hope every Wales based production will come to us to help reduce their environmental impact as a first port of call and not an afterthought. Helping to achieve as close to a zero net carbon footprint as possible, ‘Green Wing’ aims to achieve this by looking at every aspect of the production process.
We are building a sustainability consultancy service for Welsh businesses in the media supply chain and productions, offering them advice and expertise to save time and money on becoming greener. This ground-breaking service will target Carbon at both ends ì addressing both direct and indirect production emissions. We will deal directly with media suppliers to engage with sustainability development strategies, as well as on-set consultancy for productions. By taking a comprehensive approach and actively supporting and linking green suppliers with productions, this consultancy will be a first for Wales and could be game changing for sustainability for the industry.
