Project Aim
How might screen-based media enable people to better engage with their built surroundings and meaningfully contribute to its design?
More than 83% of the UK population, and 55% of the world population, live in urban areas. The ambition of the project is to develop innovative and economically sustainable platforms for two-way engagement between the public and those responsible for shaping our built surroundings; to make it an inclusive, not exclusive, process, and using multimedia storytelling as a means of sharing local knowledge.
Project lead Jonny Campbell is a filmmaker and creative producer with a background in architectural design.
