Project Aim
The Green Gathering is a multi-award-winning festival due to its outstanding commitment to reduce its environmental impact and creating positive social impact. Our annual festival educates and develops individuals’ environmental self-identity and well-being through memorable experiences. Beyond the Festival is a collaboration between Green Gathering, Hoffi and Cardiff University's Festival Research Group. Together we will research whether it is possible to use innovative screen-based technologies to effectively engage wider audiences with environmental, sustainability and climate change issues. Beyond the Festival will create a unique online festival experience that is designed to inspire sustainable lifestyle changes and promote new sustainable practices across the events industry in Wales and beyond.
