Project Aim

We are VJ and Lillie, social entrepreneurs, mothers, mentors, and emerging changemakers, with a shared mission to bridge the employment gap for Neurodivergent and disabled people.

Using our own lived experiences of the barriers and challenges ourselves, friends and family continue to face on a daily basis as Neurodivergent folx, trying to navigate systems and processes that aren’t designed for us, our mission is to demystify, destigmatise and demonstrate the incredible untapped potential in the chronically under-employed neurodivergent community; with 80% of autistic adults in the U.K. unemployed and skills shortages across all sectors, the time is now for radical new approaches and seismic social shifts in attitudes to difference.

We want to level the playing field; opening up opportunities for those currently facing barriers to entry, with non-traditional work experience, gaps in employment, or communication difficulties which prevent them getting a foot in the door.

We’ve been working on the research and development of a neuro-inclusive and accessible application, creating multimedia access documents which enable users to talk about their strengths and skills, use their authentic ‘voices’ to communicate what their needs are and helping businesses be the best equipped they can be, to meet them from their first interactions.
