Project Aim

What is the post-pandemic audience looking for? The global pandemic has resulted in film festivals and exhibitors more widely having to pivot to an on-line existence. For many, including the Iris Prize, this enabled them to reach larger audiences across wider areas. Now that restrictions are lifting how will festivals and exhibitors be best placed to serve audience wants and needs: balancing in-person and on-line activity? This project seeks to answer that question and demonstrate the feasibility of creating an environment where audiences can feel engaged and included whether they are attending in-person or virtually.
