The directors of Triongl Cyf have significant experience filming television drama back-to-back in English and Welsh (Hinterland/Y Gwyll, Un Bore Mercher/Keeping Faith, Craith/Hidden and Bang!). Back-to-back productions offer value for money and are proven to reach wider audiences internationally. There is a gap in the market to consult with producers and content creators to develop their ability to make back-to-back bilingual or multi-lingual television drama. Triongl Cyf will research and develop the viability of vehicles to export their expertise to potential partners in the Wales, UK, Europe and beyond.
Tri: A Digital Toolbox for Multi-language Productions
Tri is an ambitious project that aims to create a digital toolbox to support bilingual television and film productions with a specific focus on back-to-back content. The back-to-back model offers an innovative solution to the production of high-quality, low-cost drama through producing multiple versions simultaneously in different languages. As industry leaders in this field, we understand the logistical issues associated with such productions and feel that there is gap in the market when it comes to document management software for multilingual productions. Tri will be the first production management tool to focus primarily on multiple language productions.
